The Portion of my Inheritance

This is one of my most favorite vintage patterns ever!!!

Ok, I know I say that every time, but this time I mean it. I love the look and style of this pattern  and it fit so well.

I made this for her two years ago and she still wears it. I have made two of these and I will be making one for little miss Aniyah also.

The outside is made out of different minky fabrics. The collar and cuffs were made out of the long minky fur and it is lined with a soft flannel that is covered with pink elephants. It buttons up the front with large pink buttons.

This robe is so soft and warm, however, minky fabric is not cheap, and it did take quite a bit of it to make this robe, the only down side for me.

Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, “Take away the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said, “See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.”  Zechariah 3:4
