‘Broken into beautiful’ was the theme this year for the Wise Choices Pregnancy Resource Center Annual Gala. The event of the year!
We were invited by our amazing friends Shane and Wendy, founders of the Pregnancy Resource Center, Shane being the President of the Board of Directors.
Although I had heard of the Gala, year after year, this was our first time to attend.
We, and many of our church family and friends along with half of wise county came together for this spectacular event.
A local Pastor blessed the food,
and we were served a delicious dinner of grilled chicken breast topped with cheese and avocado, with sides of red potatoes, green beans, salad and rolls, by several of the youth from churches around wise county.
We ate and visited while the Decatur High School jazz band played. We heard the testimony of a father, who spoke for both he and his wife, and who chose life for their child, through the help and counsel of Wise Choices PRC.
Then came the guest speaker, Julie Ziglar Norman, daughter of the well known Zig Ziglar and also a resident of wise county, and gave her own testimony of brokenness and healing through her Lord and Savior.
And while the Gala was a fund raising event, and a time of reflection and testimony, it was also a time of celebration. The celebration of life through each and every baby that was saved because of Wise Choices PRC! The celebration of every mother that found hope and for every woman that finds beauty and healing out of her brokenness.
The Wise Choices PRC offers hope to so many women who have no hope.
Just a few of the miracles of Wise Choices PRC!
