They’ve been talking about it for quite some time now, and when the parents agreed we set the date and time. Good Friday. What better day to watch The Passion of the Christ for the very first time.
They have heard it over and over again, “Jesus died for your sins”, but what does that really look like?
Having a visual puts things in perspective and it changes how you receive the truth. 
And so, we gathered together and watched the Passion of the Christ.
And cried . . . .
and prayed . . . . 
And broke bread . . . . 
and drank . . . . 
in remembrance of Him. 
And we thanked Him for what He had done, for what He had suffered for us. 
And our hearts were heavy and fractured and the tears flowed down as we took this communion together in this new light. 
What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus; What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Oh! precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow;
