The Portion of my Inheritance

“Ready or not here I come!”

And as I entered the room, this is what I saw.   

I spent several minutes walking around the room calling out, “Where could she be?”   

And her laughter rang out into the room, giggles bubbling out from under gumps’ pool table and I could see her right there.   

And how funny are children? When they can’t see you, they think that you can’t see them and I have a hard time containing my own laughter.

And I lean over just enough for her to see me and she squeals with delight!

And she has been found.
