I am pretty sure that I made this same dress for the girl’s mama twenty seven years ago. And yes, that is her name written on the front of the pattern.
I had to adjust the pattern size for the dresses. This pattern is a size 2 and I needed a size 5 and 6 month.
I only used the pattern for the bodice.
For the skirt, I measured and cut the desired length.
They each have a belt made out of ribbon and topped with a fabric flower.
I also used ribbon for the straps.
The bodice fabric is made out a tank top found in the women’s section at Walmart.
The skirt fabric is from curtains that I made for my mom twenty something years ago. I have used this curtain fabric over and over again.
I already have plans to make a couple more of these dresses.
But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. Colossians 3:14
