The Portion of my Inheritance

Sometimes I start a project and I am not really sure who it will be for, but I knit and pray for the person that will be covered with this gift.  

My goal is to take it to Hungary with me next month and let my Lord tell me who to give it to.

So now, after weeks of knitting and praying, this gift is ready to be packed away in my suitcase, ready to be given to that one special person that it was intended for.         

But it’s not the gift that really matters at all, but the countless prayers that have been poured out over this person, covering them and holding fast as they cover themselves with the gift.    

For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established–that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me. Romans 1:11-12
