I actually made this dress about four years ago for Aria and now Aniyah is wearing it.
I really love this fabric, it has been one of my favorites! I also purchased the same fabric in pink. It is pretty sheer, so I had to line the dress but I didn’t line the sleeves or yoke.
I sewed matching cording along the bottom of the rounded yoke and at the bottom of the sleeves.
I finished it off with three pearl buttons that close in the back.

Thank you so much dear friend!
Nice to see vintage patterns in updated fabrics… gives a fresh new look.
Thank you Kerri! I checked out your etsy store and put it in my favorites! I guess you can tell that I LOVE LOVE LOVE vintage patterns!
Thanks for stopping by my Etsy shop. I just started selling patterns and found myself being interested in what people are doing with them. I wondered if people are mainly collecting or if they’re actually using them. What I discovered here on wordpress is that some people such as yourself are making up I found some really, really cute things being made up some really great things. I love seeing the fresh new look using old ideas. It’s fun!
I do both, collect and use them. I have gotten a lot of my vintage patterns from Etsy and some from antique stores. I have several vintage patterns that I have made up and put on this blog.
