Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Colossians 3:23-24
This is one of my most favorite vintage patterns ever!!!
Ok, I know I say that every time, but this time I mean it. I love the look and style of this pattern and it fit so well.
I made this for her two years ago and she still wears it. I have made two of these and I will be making one for little miss Aniyah also.
The outside is made out of different minky fabrics. The collar and cuffs were made out of the long minky fur and it is lined with a soft flannel that is covered with pink elephants. It buttons up the front with large pink buttons.
This robe is so soft and warm, however, minky fabric is not cheap, and it did take quite a bit of it to make this robe, the only down side for me.
Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, “Take away the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said, “See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.” Zechariah 3:4

Pizza Dough Recipe:
I half this recipe
6 Cups Warm Water
3 T. yeast (I use SAF)
4 t. salt
13 Cup flour (I grind my own whole white wheat)
Mix yeast and salt in the warm water then add the flour. Mix well, then let it rise for a 1-2 hours, until it has doubled in size. Divide it up and roll it up into pizza crust.
I make it all up and then I bake and freeze the extra pizza crusts, then when I want pizza I just pull the crust out of the freezer, put toppings on it and bake at 400 degrees for about 18 min.
I use organic corn meal to dust the pizza pan.
OK, so I use pizza sauce from the jar,
and I’m not the only one that thinks it taste good.

Cheese!!!!!!!
Time for the oven, 400 degrees for 18 minutes.
And . . . . Done!
Let’s not forget to thank our Lord for this awesome pizza.

Time to eat.
YUMMY
So then we tried the different kind of pizza approach,
A slice of bread, half of a hamburger bun and a English muffin, topped with a tablespoon of pizza sauce,
then a cheese slice.
Which pizza will she choose? She tries each one before she decides.

The bread slice pizza.
She ended up also eating the hamburger bun pizza.
Therefore, whether you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31

The years that Kory had to wear the braces were very difficult times for all of us—for him because of the pain and discomfort he suffered, and for those of us who loved him because we had to watch, helpless, as he struggled with it.

He would have to lie on the floor on his stomach while we strapped the brace on him very tightly. It was such torture for him. He wore it to bed at night and to school in the mornings so he could take it off in the afternoons for football and karate.
It constantly cut into his skin, leaving pinch marks along with huge callouses on his back and stomach.
Eating very much was impossible because the brace was so tight that it made him throw up.

Often, when he took the brace off, the seamless shirt he wore under it was soaked with sweat.
Sitting in class was also very hard because the bottom of the brace cut into his abs. It put holes in his shirt when he leaned against something, and his shirt always had little spots of blood on it. His nights were restless and brutal. . . . . . .
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Romans. 8:18

For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, and My blessing on your offspring. Isaiah 44:3

At the children’s home in Kenya, Carol is the one that washes all the clothes . . . by hand . . . . every single day.
We helped her out some while we were there and it was hard work. The trough was just at the height that you had to stoop over it and it didn’t take long for your back to get stiff and sore.
The water was cold and the soap was so strong it dried your hands out after just a little while of washing. We would wash the clothes in a bowl inside the trough and scrub the clothes together until they were clean (or clean enough), then put them in a new bowl of clean water to rinse. Water is precious and we used the same rinse water until we could not possibly use it any more. We would wring the clothes out by twisting them, then they were ready to hang on the clothes line.
This took most of the day.
This is also the perfect place for a snake to keep cool or to get a drink. Although we did not see one while we were there, it is normal and expected to find one in the troughs.
Although I love simplicity, and sometimes yearn for times of old, I am so thankful for my washer and dryer and my modern day appliances.
And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord. Acts 22:16

My husband and brother in law install hard floors.
I consider them artists for their work is amazing and they are well known throughout these parts for their quality work.
Often people will trust them to do whatever they want.
And since this IS Texas, the Texas Star is a popular choice.
